A true flute virtuoso with a singing lyrical tone with masterful rhythmic energy, Floro seamlessly blends classical elegance with the fire and swing of modern jazz. From his early training at the Philippine High School for the Arts and University of the Philippines College of Music, to performances with the Manila Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Philharmonic, major jazz festivals across Asia, and now leading vibrant ensembles in Hong Kong — his passion and versatility light up every stage.
Floro will be joined by two outstanding Hong Kong musicians,
On piano: Freeman Lok — a versatile and award-winning pianist with deep roots in classical music and a vibrant presence in Hong Kong's jazz scene. Trained at the University of Cambridge, he's equally at home in jazz clubs, festivals, and pop stages.
On double bass: Evette Chiu — a dynamic Hong Kong bassist with solid classical training from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, equally passionate about jazz and swing.
Together, they bring breathtaking artistry, rhythm, and pure musical joy to the stage.
