Mezzo-soprano Alice Li Zixian graduated with a Master degree from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Nancy Yuen. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Opera Performance from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, having previously studied Musical Theatre at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. A dedicated educator and performer, Alice currently as a voice teacher at the HKAPA Junior Programme.
Alice has garnered acclaim for her operatic performances in Hong Kong. Her recent credits include the role of Angelina in La Cenerentola, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Hanna in The Merry Widow. She has also sung on the stage of the Hong Kong City Hall as La Zelatrice in Suor Angelica and Annie in La Clemenza di Tito with Musica Viva. She has also done Opera scenes as Carmen in Carmen, Prinz Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Magdalena in Rigoletto, and Siebel in Faust.
She is also an extensive concert soloist. She Performed Quantum Odyssey Quantum Physics 100th Anniversary in HK City Hall, Viva Night of Verdi with CityUPhil, and as a soloist at the 40th Anniversary Celebration and the Fundraising Gala of the HKAPA in 2025. Also She was a featured singer invited for Lee Mingwei's Sonic Blossom at the M+ Museum and as a soloist in Handel's Messiah at the HK Union Church and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy. Her performance experience extends to the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts and various television galas.
A representative for the Hong Kong region in the prestigious 2025 China Golden Bell Award, Alice has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Sumi Jo and Michelle DeYoung.
