Overview

"Quite simply, the most dazzlingly, uncannily gifted pianist in the concert world today."
San Francisco Chronicle

"Technical brilliance was balanced by finesse and great depth of feeling throughout, offsetting delicacy with fierce intensity, everything superbly controlled yet suggesting emotional spontaneity and freedom."
The Guardian

One of the most electrifying pianists of our time, Yuja Wang is known for her breathtaking technique and charismatic stage presence, conquering audiences globally. Named Musical America Artist of the Year 2017, she is featured among Gramophone's “50 Greatest Classical Pianists on Record.”

For this highly anticipated return, Yuja showcases her versatility as both pianist and conductor, leading the Mahler Chamber Orchestra from the keyboard in four piano concertos over two thrilling nights. Founded in 1997 by Claudio Abbado, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra is a distinguished pan-European ensemble celebrated for its globe-spanning tours. Opening their Asia tour in Hong Kong with two nights of thrilling repertoire, this is definitely the biggest event of the season!
