馬嘉曦

Nicole Ma joined the Vancouver Opera as their fourth horn in 2024. As a professional horn player, she was the third horn of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra from 2024 to 2025 and will be playing with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra as acting second horn in the upcoming season. Currently based in Toronto, she plays regularly with the National Ballet of Canada and has performed with other professional orchestras including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, etc. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, studying with Mr. Lin Jiang and Mr. Homer Lee; and during the studies for her Master's degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, her main teachers were Jonathan Lipton, Phil Munds and Angela Barnes. Before moving to Toronto, she studied at McGill University with Denys Derome and Nadia Côte.
