Building on the successful launch momentum of The Macallan'sDouble Cask and Sherry Oak collection's new visual identity, The Macallan presents In The Studio — alimited-time public experience that offers rare insight into the creative partnership behind one of thebrand's most distinctive collaborations.

At its core, The Macallan x David Carson In The Studio invites participants to journey through a curated
environment that brings to life the creative synergy between The Macallan and David Carson. More than an exhibition, it is an invitation to step inside the mind of an artist — and leave with a creation of your own.

In The Studio unfolds as two distinct yet deeply connected experiences, inviting guests to engage with The Macallan through both creation and social discovery.

By day, the space invites guests to immerse themselves in the creative worlds of The Macallan and David Carson through an art-led journey of education, exploration and experience. Beginning with an exhibition of Carson's original artworks, the experience offers an intimate insight into his creative process before moving into an interactive collage art studio led by a local artist. Accompanied by a guided whisky tasting by the Brand Ambassador, guests are invited to create their own artwork inspired by Carson's instinctive approach, exploring the connections between creativity, craftsmanship and sensory discovery. The journey concludes at the Canvas Bar, where guests can enjoy a bespoke cocktail inspired by In The Studio and reflect on an experience that transforms inspiration into creation. Here, instinct takes the lead, as participants explore creative expression through material, form and flavour — discovering how intuition shapes both artistic output and the whisky in their glass.

As evening falls, the art gallery and art studio give way to a more social setting. The DJ booth comes to life after 6pm, bringing a new rhythm to the space, while the Canvas Bar offers bespoke cocktails inspired by The Macallan's character and Carson's creative spirit.

The Canvas Bar will also extend beyond the core experience through a bar takeover series from 4 to 9 September, with six Hong Kong bars, including DIO, Kinsman, Montana, Quinary, The Green Door, and The Poet, each taking over the bar for one night. Each bar will present art-inspired cocktails featuring local ingredients or curated concepts, bringing the creative spirit of In The Studio into the city's cocktail scene.

A community canvas invites guests to leave their own mark, gradually evolving into a living artwork shaped collectively by spontaneity and shared Hong Kong expressions. More than an exhibition and a bar, it becomes the most coveted address for a growing community of tastemakers.
