Overview

Crafted through traditional weaving techniques passed down as intangible cultural heritage, these bamboo coasters not only boast vibrant colors and elegant patterns, but also lend refined elegance to your teacup.

When the aromas of tea and bamboo intertwine, a sense of returning to the simple joys of life wells up. In the midst of our busy lives, let us take a moment to immerse ourselves in this tranquil and lyrical experience, savouring the gifts of nature.

In this workshop, you will learn to handcraft bamboo woven coaster and gain an in-depth understanding of the historical development of bamboo weaving. Let's experience the beauty of traditional craftsmanship integrated into modern living and enjoy the pleasure of handmade creation!

 

- Suitable for participants aged 7 years and above. An adult is required to accompany his/her child. Children may participate if accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
- Language: Cantonese

Upon successfully enrolled in this workshop, an e-ticket will be auto-generated by art-mate and sent to your email.

Note: Participants must register separately here for entrance to DesignInspire, where the workshop will be held. A QR code will be emailed to you upon registration; please present this code for admission to the event. Additionally, show your e-ticket to access the specific workshop you're enrolled in.

If a registered participant has not arrived within 15 minutes after the workshop begins, the organiser will consider the spot forfeited and have the right to allocate it to other on-site walk-in participant. Any paid deposits or registration fees will not be refunded.
