楊嘉倫

Karen Yeung is the Co-founder and Artistic Director of Concerto da Camera, a professional chamber music ensemble active in Hong Kong since its founding in 2004. Under her leadership and vision, Concerto da Camera presents unique and innovative chamber music programs that promote public interest in classical music. Since 2019, the ensemble has also organised the biennial Hong Kong Early Music Festival.

Yeung received her early musical training at Wells Cathedral School in England, where she studied under the specialist music programme. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2001, and went on to study modern bassoon at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ronald Karten, Principal Bassoonist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, as well as baroque bassoon and early music performance with Donna Agrell, bassoonist of The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century.

In 2023, Yeung was invited to perform at the Hong Kong Hymnos Festival in the concert-lecture Jesuita Cantat 2.0: Settlements of Shanghai ca. 1860, directed by historical musicologist Dr. David Francis Urrows. She has been selected to participate in Akademie Versailles 2025, led by Collegium Marianum, a centre for historically informed performance based in Prague based in Prague, as well as in Orchestre 415-Paris's Winter Session 2025, under the direction of the renowned French conductor Hervé Niquet.
