Blue Ka Wing, left-hander, an independent dance artist from Hong Kong. Started her dance training at the age of 16. In 2010, she graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, majoring in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. In 2023, Blue has been awarded the scholarship from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund for studying Master of Arts in Screendance at The Place, London Contemporary Dance School.
Her works include《The Neighbor》presented by E-Side Dance Company. 《The Left Hander》and Community Cultural Ambassador Scheme ( 2016, 2018 )《My Daddy, My Flying Car and Me》were presented by LCSD. She premiered《Time Lag》 at the 44th Hong Kong Arts Festival's The Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series Programme 3 "Dance Off". Afterwards, this piece has been invited to perform in Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival vol.10 ( Fukuoka, Japan ) and New Dance for Asia-NDA International Festival ( Seoul, Korea ). Blue's 《Time Lag》also got the shortlisted nomination by Hong Kong Dance Award 2017 as Outstanding Choreography.
《Experimental Relationships》is a 20-minute work and the 3rd piece commissioned and produced by the Hong Kong Arts Festival. A two-week Japan tour came after the premiere, it is selected by Yokohama Dance Collection 2020. In the following week, it is presented in TPAM( Yokohama, Japan ) and UrBANGUILD ( Kyoto, Japan ) in February 2020. In the year of pandemic, Blue presented a 80-minute work《The Neighbor》in Hong Kong Cultural Centre. The premiere of Blue's latest full length work《re-do re-do》was in May 2023 at The Box, West Kowloon Cultural District. Touring in the following year in Goyang International Dance Festival 2024 ( Korea ), Goyang Street Arts Festival 2024 ( Korea ), Resolution Festival 2025 ( London, United Kingdom ).
During 2018-2019, Blue participated in several festivals/choreographic research weeks.

《9》is awarded the Mención especial Fiver from Fiver International Screendance Movement; 2019 International Dance Video Award and Audience's Choice from One Minute Jumping Frames Dance Video Competition. In 2020, Blue and Wilfred Wong were commissioned by Jumping Frames – Hong Kong International Movement-image Festival for the 21-minute dance film 《Mountains, Seas, Panorama》, premiered at UA Cinema K11 Art House. In July of 2021, this film is selected by Cannes Court Métrage - Short Film Corner, the 74th Festival de Cannes.
The work later evolved into the full version of 《Mountains, Seas, Panorama》, was officially released in December 2023. Following its screening at Broadway Cinematheque in Hong Kong, it is selected as an international premiere at the Cinedans FEST '24 in Amsterdam in March 2024.
《Peak Hour in the House》was selected by ten international screendance festivals within just six months.

Blue was a part-time contract dancer at Y-Space Dance Company during 2012-2013, collaborated with different artists such as performing in Pichet Klunchun's 《Tam Kai ( Hunting the Chicken )》 and more.
Blue is also a Polestar® Certified Practitioner of Pilates Mat.
