Tam Wai Lun

Tam Wai Lun Alan graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. An experienced orchestral musician, Alan was a former trombonist of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed as guest trombonist with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong.

Alan's trombone teachers have included Per Brevig, Michael Powell, Ben Pelletier, John D. Rojak, Maciek Walicki. During his undergraduate study, Alan was the recipient of the SAR Philharmonic Scholarship and Tom Lee Music scholarship. He was the winner of the HKAPA Concerto competition in the year 2016 and 2017. As an avid participant in summer festivals, he was selected to participate in the Asian Youth Orchestra in 2016 and the Aspen Music Festival in 2017 .
