Pang Tsz Kar Bernice

Bernice is currently a psychiatry resident in public hospital. She graduated from Diocesan Girls’ School and received musical training at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Art as a junior vocal and cello student under the tutelage of Jovita Leung and Liew Li Kien.

Over the years, Bernice received a number of music scholarships, including the Miss Barbara Fei Vocal Scholarship, full tuition scholarship by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Art, the Talent Development Scholarship by the HKSAR Government and music scholarships by Diocesan Girls’ School.

As a soprano, she won the concerto competition of Diocesan Girls’ School and received prizes in vocal open classes in Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. She also received the Outstanding Performance Award in Alice and Eleonre Schoenfeld International String Competition and gold prize at the Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup Strings Competition as a cellist.

Bernice has also participated in numerous performances both locally and overseas. She has worked with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, MusicaViva, RTHK, HK Medical Association Orchestra and Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra as a vocal and cello soloist in recent years.
