Bonnie Chan

Bonnie Chan is a theatre maker, practitioner and researcher graduated with MA in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy in the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She graduated with a Master of Arts in East-West Drama in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Bonnie worked in the Literary Department of Royal Shakespeare Company on the Chinese Classics Translation Project. She has also worked in the Performing Arts Department as a Senior Researcher in the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and as Research Executive in Cantonese Opera Education Research and Promotion Project in the University of Hong Kong.

Her theatre works and academic papers have been presented in international art festivals and conferences in different countries including Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, Portugal, France, UK and the Netherlands. She was the guest curator of the International Community Arts Festival in Rotterdam in 2017. She was awarded West Kowloon Young Fellow 2019 with her project "Little Bean - Cantonese is Fun!".
