Chan Yin Tat

Chan graduated from the Department of Music at the Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in clarinet performance. His mentor was Mr. Choy Kwok Tin. In 2013, he achieved the LTCL Performance Diploma ( Distinction ) from Trinity College London. During his studies, Chan studied with different renowned clarinetists, including Ms.Ayako Oshima, Ms. Wong Yee, Mr. Zhou Xiangyu, Mr. Lee Man Ho Lorenzo Losco, Chi-Yu Mo, and Yos Vaneesorn.

Chan actively participates in ensemble performances. From 2013 to 2016, he served as the principal clarinetist of the Hong Kong Baptist University Wind Band. In 2018, he joined the Only One Jazz Orchestra, and since 2022, he has been the principal clarinetist of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Chamber Winds. Chan has also collaborated with various orchestras, including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra, and the Mahler Orchestra.

Chan has diverse performance experiences. These include being invited to participate in the recording of the theme song for the TV drama series "Beautiful Battlefield" in 2022 and being invited by the Hong Kong New Youth Choir to perform as a soloist on bass clarinet and in the premiere of local composer
