Dr. Dora Tsang is currently a faculty in Collaborative Piano at the School of Music, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She holds the Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the School of Music, University of Minnesota and during her studies there, she performed many solo and chamber concerts in the Twin Cities. Her Doctoral thesis, "The Art of Collaboration - Brahms'Three Sonatas for Violin and Piano" gives her output on collaborating the Piano with the Violin. She received her Master of Music degree and Performer Diploma at Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music.

Dr. Tang has been recognised for her musical prowess with many awards, including the Artist Excellence Award at the Indiana University and the Judson and Barbara Bemis Graduate Fellowship. Tang was a finalist in the Colman Chamber Music Competition in Texas, USA.

As an emerging artist, Dr. Tsang has performed in many piano recitals and chamber recitals in Hong Kong, North America and Europe. She will be featured in the "Chamber Music Connection" series presented by the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department. As a collaborative pianist, she has performed and worked extensively with musicians in the United States and Hong Kong including Andrew Ling and Richard Bamping. She will be teaching in the Macau Summer Piano Festival 2023.
