P H Yang, an award-winning self-taught photographer, is driven by a profound desire to reveal the unseen beauty and distinctive perspectives embedded in the fabric of everyday life. His work masterfully captures the interplay of light and shadow, illuminating the textures, emotions, and narratives that often go unnoticed in our surroundings. With a versatile portfolio encompassing travel, documentary, portrait, landscape, and editorial photography, Yang has presented over 20 solo exhibitions worldwide, including the inaugural photo exhibition at PMQ in Hong Kong.

His creative process is deeply immersive, rooted in an intimate exploration of places and people. By observing subtle details and fleeting interactions, he transforms the ordinary into evocative visual stories that resonate with authenticity and depth.

Yang's photography has earned global acclaim, frequently gracing the front pages of prominent media outlets such as CNN, San Francisco Chronicle, CrowdSpark (formerly Newzulu, Citizenside), Demotix, Hong Kong Free Press, Hong Kong 01, Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly, Ming Pao, Apple Daily, and TVB.

His work is licensed by Lonely Planet travel guides and Dragonair's in-flight magazine Silkroad.

Yang won the prestigious Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize in 2015.
