HORIZONS [noun]

"the place in the distance where the earth and sky seem to meet;

a person's horizons are the limit of that person's ideas, knowledge, and experience."

Creative minds trek through the deepest of unknowns till dawn,

the Curious gather in theatres to be inspired by dusk,

that's when horizons are broadened, pushed and redefined.

Organized by Blank Space Studio Limited, HORIZONS FESTIVAL is a new fringe festival that promotes the diversity of live performing arts in Hong Kong to a wider audience. The idea stems from (1) a surge in interest in fringe-scale theatres and fringe international touring amongst local artists in recent years, and (2) a lack of platform to connect local high-quality works of art with the wider international fringe network.

The festival presents 27 local & international artist groups of various disciplines, 34 performances and 7 events, partnering with 2 artist studios in Tai Po Arts Centre over the 4-day celebration.
