Eva Lin Yingchi

Eva Lin Yingchi is currently an MFA student in APA, majoring choreography. She has studied Chinese folk dance and classical dance, ballet and modern dance. She choreographed dance works: Lost Embrace, Silence, self-reflection, etc. She graduated from master class contemporary Dutch dance in 2009. She choreographed dance works for the Spring Festival Gala of China Construction Bank during the period 2009-2013, and meantime she was working in the choreographing team for Liaoning TV channel’s Spring Festival Gala. In 2011, she won the first prize in the Liaoning Luxun Art Cup dance competition. She attended and performance in a wide range of dance festivals including Beijing Double Dance Week, America dance festival, Hong Kong i-dance Festival, Xiamen Dance & Martial Arts Festival, etc.

She also won many awards in national and international competition of Taijiquan, sword, and fan. In 2013 she officially became the thirteenth generation successor of Chen style Taijiquan and the Chinese Wushu Duan System Assessor of “dan” grading 4 and teacher certification. She is currently committed to the research of site-dance, and experimenting with ways of inspiring people to find connection with specific sites.
