I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness.
Howl is a studio production devised by Acty Tang with the cast based on Allen Ginsberg’s poem. Written in 1955, Howl is an American classic, epitomising the Beat Generation and a spiritual precursor of the great cultural changes to come in the United States. This production will offer a multi-sensory theatrical experience where movement, vision, sound and the experimental theatre environment collide to meditate on and interrogate our living conditions in Hong Kong, while retaining the untamed, individualistic soul of Ginsberg's poem.
