JazzSpeak Vol.7 :Music Startup: Dos and Don'ts

Curating programmes, finding venues and raising funds are the most common challenges that arts administrators face.

Vicky Fung, the Founder of Frenzi Music Limited, the former Backstage Live Restaurant and music crowdfunding platform Music Bee. As a local pioneer involved in all of the above three issues, how has she managed to overcome the difficulties and survive over the years?

KJ Wong, award-winning pianist, Founder and Artistic Director of Music Lab and the Music Lab Festival. He’s a rising star in local music startups, and the core problems for him are definitely programmes, venues and funding.

On Music Bee, Music Lab successfully crowdfunded over $100,000 to establish the Music Lab Festival 2018.

What will happen when newbie KJ meets experienced Vicky?
