In this year’s Christmas concert, Phoenix Singers is hoping to bring you some inner peace and tranquility. “We Need a Little Christmas” to “Believe” (from Polar Express) “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. “Mary did you know” “what child is this?” There will be a carol-sing-along at the end of the concert. So, please bring along some jingle bells and whistles!
We welcome our pianist Ingrid Chan back from her Master’s study at Guildhall School of Drama and Music in the UK. She will be playing for us together with her brother Bernard Chan, a cellist and a Master’s graduate from the Royal Academy of Music, UK. This year, we are privileged to have a new song “Enchanted Holiday” written for us by playwright / songwriter Momoko Ogata. Momoko is based in Hong Kong and will present her second cabaret in Tokyo end of November. She is currently working on a musical and looking for collaborators in HK.
