Kong CHAN learnt Cantonese Operatic songs, Chinese flutes and strings at a young age. He graduated from the Chinese Traditional Theatre Program at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and had been an active accompanist in the Cantonese Opera scene. Since performing as musician in Chung Ying Theatre Company’s production, Water Margin’s Lou Luo ( 2017 ) and The Modern-day Flavours of Nanyin and Naamyam, a crossover performance presented by the New Vision Arts Festival (2018), he has embarked on exploring improvisation, theatre and crossover performances.
