Sampson Wong

Sampson Wong is a Hong Kong–based artist, independent curator, and academic. His research and creative interests include urban theory and contemporary urbanism, socially engaged art, art and the public sphere, Hong Kong studies, and urban nature. He is currently a lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has a PhD Geography from the University of Manchester, UK. Sampson has recently published his first major title “Hong Kong: a guide to city strolling”, founded the Youtube channel “When in doubt, take a walk” and related popular social channels.
