Crash & Explore - Clarinet Ensemble Work Commission and Performance ProjectK622 Clarinet Ensembles

"Crash & Explore” Clarinet Ensemble Work Commission and Performance Project is presented by K622 Clarinet Ensembles and supported by Hong Kong Art Development Council. It is a pilot project that commissioning 5 independent composers who have just graduated from recognized music degree, aim to create 5 new clarinet ensemble works with the interpretation of the theme, "Sky", based on their own experiences. After the inspiring co-creation process between the composers and the players, these fine-tuned pieces will be performed by the core members of K622 Clarinet Ensembles: John Tasman, Tiffany Lee, Eric Man and Winnie Lui at the project showcase on 27th January 2023. Audience will witness and experience the true meaning of “Crash & Explore” in live!

The 5 new clarinet ensemble works included:
“Flow-t” by Jenny Chan
“Soakin' soakin'” by Annisa Cheung
“Sky Lanterns” by Mandy Leung
“Matsuri” by Benjamin Ng
“Above the Sky” by Fish Yu

The concert will last approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission.

Children under 6 will not be admitted.
