“Art-is-land: Young Teaching Artist Training Programme” International Exchange

Throughout the six sessions of International Exchange, community/ design/ education/ art practitioners from both overseas and local areas are invited to share their practices in connecting with communities, including how to discover local creativity and value, and the relationships of community interaction. The event is open for public registration, with the aim of examining the social position of teaching artists from an international perspective and encouraging everyone to learn together!

Panel 1： MAY 20｜ Exploring Creativity in Different Localities

From the perspectives of everyday life, ecology and community action, the three sessions will explore how creative and art projects respond to social issues in different regions and give more meanings through case study and theories

Panel 2：MAY 21 | Exploring the Relationships of Community Interaction

From art history, contemporary community arts projects, to examples of architecture in Europe and the Americas, the three sessions will explore how, as teaching artists, we can reflect on the ethical aspects of art and understand the relationships within community projects, as well as how the intangible relationships in architecture impact daily life.
