Han Zhen

Han Zhen joined China Oriental Song and Dance Troupe in 2019, and she is also a postgraduate advisor of Beijing Dance Academy. She was awarded the 14th Wenhua Director Award, “Best Choreographer” of the 6th CCTV Dance Competition. Her works have won the Grand Wenhua Prize and the “Five One Project” Award three times in a row, Lotus Award for Dance Drama twice in a row, and were listed for the National Program for Excellent Stage Art twice. Many of her works have been widely performed overseas, including the Sydney Opera House, the European Union Headquarters, the United Nations Headquarters, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Notable plays under her direction include The Journey of a Legendary Landscape, Wing Chun, The Eternal Waves, Mulan, Dragon Boat Racing, Du Fu, etc. The Journey of a Legendary Landscape has been mentioned in White Paper Youth of China in the New Era published by the State Council Information Office of China.
