The theme of the 2nd Hong Kong International Inclusive Dance Festival is "Dance in Health" and designs a series of activities that everyone can participate and aim to promote health through inclusive dance. Life goes on. Activities include workshops, touring, lectures, screenings and stage performances. This year, the spectrum of participating organisations and artists has been further expanded to include disability art, Voguing, Waacking, parent-kids contact, mind-body theory, etc. It is open and encourages everyone to dance with their own way.

We are committed to connecting artists and creating interactive opportunities. This dance festival invites exciting activities spanning more than three months, allowing all walks of life to have an in-depth understanding of the diverse aspects involved in inclusive dance. There are physical activities and online remote communication. This is a rare opportunity and we sincerely invite all walks of life to participate.

LOVE 21 is a charity dedicated to empowering the Down syndrome and autistic community in Hong Kong through sport, nutrition, and holistic support programmes. Since the launch of our comprehensive nutrition programme in 2021, we’ve provided one-on-one nutritional support on top of the sports classes that we’ve offered. We’ve also recently expanded into providing counselling support for the parents of our community.
 
Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power has since 2020 been granted funding under Social Welfare Department’s “Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities” to develop Chinese style wheelchair dance. The idea is to combine wheelchair dance with Chinese music and Chinese dance, and bring oriental style and Chinese dance components into wheelchair dancing. (The conventional wheelchair dancing is more western style such as ballroom dancing).
The aim of the project is to train up talented wheelchair dancers to further develop them into professional Chinese style wheelchair dancers.

Welcome to the mixies world where cultures and dance mix to blend into a unique cocktail of flavors. The Mixies Dance Crew was founded by Anisha Thai who is half-Vietnamese and half-Comorian (Afro-Asian), Anisha was born and raised in Paris and is now based in Hong Kong as an Artist with multifaceted talent - Content creator, Choreographer, Dancer, Model, Singer. She is now a spokesperson for Diversity and African culture in Asia. She has been
chosen as the face of influential brand names (Lululemon, Fenty Beauty, Apple...) . She is also seen as an Ambassador of Excellence and Diversity through her positive influence and her aim to merge cultures (Chinese, French, and African) by celebrating them.

Established by deaf artist Jason Wong, the Regeneration Warriors award winner, Fun Forest was the first deaf dance group in Hong Kong. The group is formed by hearing impaired as well as hearing dancers, together they created original sign language dance with the aim of promoting silent dance and showcasing the community culture of not hearing. Fun Forest was admitted in the ATV television contest Asian Millionstar and they were the only team of not-hearing.

Art is a barrier-free common language. To appreciate beautiful things and to do creation freely are inborn abilities and rights of human beings. We established an art team "TWGHs i-dArt" in 2010. To connect people with different abilities and explore more possibilities and creative spaces in the community. In addition, we encourage more people with different abilities to participate in art so as to promote social inclusion.
 
Guest / Performance teamCCCD - The Symbiotic Dance Troupe
The dance troupe established in 2009 invites all community dancers with and without disabilities. We offer dance workshops based on the DanceAbility approach advocated by Alito Alessi and incorporate various other integrated and creative dance elements. We aim to inspire all dancers regardless of age and physical attributes to find their own unique dance potential, to express their own stories and cooperate with others to build free and unrestrained dancing. Over the years, the Troupe has been organizing tours and training to local communities, schools and social service organizations to promote DANCE FOR ALL and wellbeing.

Wherever there is light, there is also shadow. In dancing, we learn to become the shadow in a way to accentuate the wave of light. The Shadow Dancers developed an equal position with fellow dancers while they explore mindfulness and connection together through their “viewpoints”. We believe everyone can shine, everyone can dance however they desire.
 
Founded in 2018, with dancer Wong Yiu (Cindy) as the artistic director. Through professional guidance, 22 diverse-abilities members have mastered in-depth dance skills and developed their personal dance talents; with a strong dance style, the audience can feel the positive dance energy of people with intellectual disabilities. Under the leadership of Cindy, the dance troupe has participated in as many as 20 performances in six years, and has completed three public performance projects in total.

KenKen Milan explored for this kind of dance for the first time when he was studying in Taiwan in 2014. He was immediately immersed in this culture, and then went to New York to pursue studies. Later, when he returned to Hong Kong, he realised that the vogue culture was not popular in Hong Kong, so he decided to start to teach vogue dance and promote this art form and ballroom culture.

Originating in street dance culture, the crew combines rhythmic arm movements and expressive poses, showcasing both technical skill and storytelling. With a passion for dance and a commitment to community, WAACKTORY not only dazzles audiences but also inspires budding dancers by promoting creativity and self-expression through their performances and workshops. Their unique flair and dedication make them a prominent name in the Waacking scene.

As the hospital's first service center for young and elderly people, "Old Age" transcends traditional service standards and builds an active lifestyle with them through diversified, innovative and unique space and activity planning, and unfolds the charm of life experience. Live your own life beyond age.
 
The Hurtling Calves Butoh Dance Theater started up in the early covid , it is a group that comes from the same founder Vinci Mok(creative artist /performer in diversity ) of Moving Art。Hong Kong. Vinci aims the Butoh that had its growth with Avant-garde period and the Japanese tragedy, turbulent moment in early 50s can help to empower, energetic those bodies from different age/ability /gender as more green fresh living being, instead of keep exhausting in the darkness corner nowadays in Hong Kong. Grassroots Future, a non-profit organization based in HK that works to build capacity among refugees in this city and to support the development of refugee-led initiatives by empowering refugees to fulfil their potential to become self-reliant,sustainability-minded global citizens.

Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association was officially registered as a non-profit charitable organization in October 1987. It is committed to providing comprehensive family support and vocational rehabilitation services to people with Down syndrome, people with disabilities, other people with intellectual disabilities and their families, so that service users can achieve all-round development in personal growth and all aspects of life; and their needs in employment and vocational training can be met. In recent years, we have been committed to developing a number of social enterprises, hoping to increase vocational training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities and promote the concept of "social inclusion".
 
IMWU is dedicated to empowering and developing the capacity of Indonesian migrant domestic workers to defend their basic rights through education, training, advocacy and campaigning, cultural activities, paralegal services, shelter references, outreach and solidarity programmes. IMWU was the first Indonesian migrant domestic workers union registered in the Registry of Trade Unions (RTU) Hong Kong in 1999.
