Yuxuan (Cornelius) Cui, Cellist, born in Beijing, China, currently based in Hong Kong/ Shenzhen. Cellist of the Momento Duo, one of the founders of HK Here·Hear Music, K-12 Music Teacher with Teaching Certificate of Arizona, United States.
He has played the Cello over 18 years. He started Cello learning with Mrs Xiuli Zhang, cellist of China National Traditional Orchestra. Now studying Cello under the famous Chinese cellist, former principal cellist of China Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Yuanze Huang. Cui graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University, Herberger School of Music, majoring in B.M in Music Learning and Teaching. During his studies in ASU, Cui studied Cello with famous Belgian cellist Professor Thomas Landschoot. He obtained his master's degree in M.A. Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Cui has performed at different halls across the world. Cui has performed at the National Center for the Performing Arts, the Great Hall of the People, the Hong Kong City Hall, the Beijing Concert Hall and other well-known concert halls in China. Cui has also been invited to participate in international music festivals in the United States, Canada and gave tour performances.
