"ÉLAN Eartheatre – Regain The Lost Wings Environmental immersive theatre
"Earth Art x Environmental Friendliness x Immersive Theatre”

The Hong-Kong mega environmental immersive art festival, bringing performing arts and nature together to enhance mental health and proper values in children and young, inviting families to fight against nature deficit disorder!

The injured sacred bird that safeguards all living beings cannot soar high to continue painting the earth with colors. Sunya, the golden-haired child of the bird tribe, is the only hope to save the sacred bird and the world. However, he must receive help from everyone to fulfill this mission. Therefore, the high priest summons brave warriors from all sides to undergo special training by the elder plants. It is hoped that by combining everyone's strength before the deadline, they can heal the wings of the sacred bird and let it soar high once again, bringing forth colors!

Featuring an adventurous theme story about Sunya, who strives to save the divine bird Simurgh, this environmental immersive experience commences with a sensational welcome ceremony to take participants on an interactive journey, followed by various theatre performances and interactive workshops that bring art and nature together. The journey is concluded by an eye-opening puppet parade, where participants complete different tasks with the characters, boosting their mental health while sending blessings to themselves, the people around them and the world.

Discovering Precious Moments: Children in the Fields Lecture

The tasks involved in farming, the tools used, and even the rural environment are quite different from the upbringing and daily lives of children today, aren't they? The laborious and repetitive nature of farming, the heavy and hazardous tools, and the raw and sparse environment seem worlds apart from the needs of growing up in the 21st century.

In this lecture, the speaker will share glimpses of children's involvement in farming activities that he has observed over the years. Whether at home or in school, children may exhibit characteristics such as being delicate and refined, energetic, introverted, enthusiastic, or slow to warm up. Different farming tasks present various stimuli to different children when it comes to fulfilling tasks and solving problems, revealing precious aspects of the children that are rarely shown even to their parents.
