Mo Kwok ( b. 1993 ) lives and works in Hong Kong. Her work explores the intersection of trauma and fantasy, creating a space where memory and possibility coexist in delicate equilibrium. She studied in Political Science and Visual Arts at the University of Chicago and holds a Masters in Art Education from Harvard University. Drawing inspiration from the chromatic boldness of Etel Adnan and the ethereal narratives of Peter Doig, Kwok crafts a unique visual language that listens to personal experience and speaks to universal truths. From New York to Nairobi, her work has been exhibited and collected internationally. Notable exhibitions include The Myth of Adulthood, Hong Kong (2024); Non-Sterile Art Happenings, Boston ( 2018 ); The Testament of a 90s Baby, Hong Kong ( 2017 ).
