Hiromi, a national treasure-level jazz pianist in Japan, has won many heavyweight honors in her music career, including the Grammy Award and the Japan Record Award. Her performance and composition skills have long been highly recognized by the industry. The band she leads also has extraordinary members, including trumpeter Adam O'Farrill, who has been recognized by Downbeat magazine twice, as well as the skilled French bassist Hadrien Féraud and Chicago drummer Gene Coye. The music of this band is very tense, combining jazz, rock, electronic and other musical elements together to form a unique musical expression that is difficult to define with conventional styles.
