Hailed by Classical Public Radio as “one of the world's greatest 'living' orchestras”, the English Chamber Orchestra (ECO) is here to perform a short and enticing concert that will introduce you to incredible music. The ECO is widely acclaimed on its UK and international tours, and renowned for its outreach programs that demystify classical music for new audiences. Guided by your friendly host Franchesca Wong, Harmonic Hour is interspersed with conversations with the musicians and easy-to-follow demonstrations. Let Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony unleash your imagination in nature's wonder, and discover the first ever known viola concerto, written by Telemann more than 300 years ago! Musicus is especially proud to feature its Young Artist Audition winner, Hoi Yan-lok, a rising Vienna-trained violist with consummate skills, as soloist of the concert.
