Cloud Gate: Lunar HaloCLOUD GATE

A fierce and surreal portrait of our time

Powerful, ritualistic and mesmerising, Lunar Halo, by internationally renowned Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, led by artistic director and choreographer Cheng Tsung-lung, is an exploration of human anxieties around change. Performing to an ambient soundtrack by Icelandic band Sigur Rós, dancers interact with each other and with large LED panels filled with moving shapes and images. Awkward, fluid, frantic and calm, Lunar Halo questions the role of the body in a digital world, and reassures us with hope.

In 2023, Lunar Halo was recognised as "Best of 2023 Dance" by The Telegraph.
