Educational Event: The Anatomy of a Hindustani Classical Music Recital | 都會音樂節2025The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology、The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology School of Humanities and Social Science、Cosmopolis Festival、SPIC MACAY

Following Ashwini Bhide's Cosmopolis Festival concert (October 11, 7:30 PM, Shaw Auditorium), this workshop will take participants through the basics of Hindustani classical music and khayal renditions, including an extensive Q&A session with all of the artists. The discussion will touch on the intricacies of ragas, which form the base of all Indian classical music, and on the improvisatory nature of the performance.

The event is free and open to the public.
