Ted Lo is a renowned Hong Kong-born jazz pianist, recognized as the "godfather of jazz" in Hong Kong. He was the first Chinese graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1976. Ted began his career in the 1970s as a freelance jazz pianist, performing with legends such as Al Kooper, Astrud Gilberto, Herbie Mann, and Ron Carter while he was residing in New York.
Ted Lo has dedicated significant time to teaching, inspiring the next generation of musicians in Hong Kong. He is also a multi instrumentalist and composer, blending jazz with other genres and adapting it for Western and Chinese orchestras
