Chinese Culture Festival 2026: The Echoes of Origin and Fate: Wong On-yuen and Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble (Season Closing Programme)

Huqin master Wong On-yuen, known for his vibrant tones of the two-stringed musical instruments, along with special guests and the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble, will perform a selection of his original composition, world-premiere and classic pieces. The program also features world-premiere pieces by renowned local composers Chan Hing-yan and Chan Kai-young. The concert not only marks the long-awaited reunion between Wong and the audience, but also ignites a captivating spark of heritage and creativity throughout the evening.
