Rachel Sung is a jazz vocalist and educator based in Hong Kong, holding a Master of Philosophy in Gender Studies from Cambridge. Co-founder of the Cambridge University Jazz Society, she has performed at major events like the WestK Freespace Jazz Festival and collaborated with Grammy-winning artists. A passionate educator, she teaches jazz history and vocal performance at various institutions. Known for her warm tone and storytelling through song, Rachel has performed at venues across Hong Kong, focusing on traditional jazz and Brazilian music.
Originally from the US, Dan LaVelle is one of Hong Kong's premier guitarists, songwriters and arrangers. From his early days performing in the States with Motown stars Martha Reeves and others to working with legendary Hong Kong singer Angelita Li, or producing the critically acclaimed Tableau Records CD - 'Jenerations' by jazz vocalist Jennifer Palor, Dan LaVelle relies exclusively on Ibanez high quality acoustic and electric guitars to achieve the perfect sound and texture for his performances.
