2025-26 Eastern District Cultural Festival - Eastside Story in Movie Music

Co-presented by the Sound of Earth Music and Arts Foundation and the Eastern District Office, the "2025–26 Eastern District Cultural Festival – Eastside Story in Movie Music" will present a variety performance. The event will feature a nearly 70-member orchestra performing renditions of classic musical selections, film scores from Hollywood, as well as beloved Hong Kong movie theme songs. In addition, two renowned local musical theatre actors, 邢灝 ( Christopher Ying ) and 鍾曉其 ( Chung Hiu Ki, Ice ), will perform a short theatrical piece. Accompanied by visuals of Eastern District landmarks, they will narrate a heartfelt story of the local Tankaa community, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the rich local charm woven through sound and light.
