【End of Term | Tseung Kwan O Meetups】TaKeOff: Zine LaunchMake A Difference Institute

Driven by the lack of cultural spaces in Tseung Kwan O, Derek, Iggy, Mia, WONG Sound and Szeto joined forces with alumni from two seasons of the Studio in-Situ to launch "TaKeOff". Located in TKO South, this experimental storefront serves as a cultural space, common room and creative lab all in one.

From romantic ideals to on-the-ground challenges, the team has spent the past three months organizing swap parties, workshops, mini-concerts, and walking tours to bring the community together. Now, they have distilled these operational experiences and reflections into a Zine. This is more than just a record; it is a "practical field guide" for anyone who cares about the community or aspires to run an experimental space.

We invite you to come flip through the Zine, hear their stories, and join our guest speakers in exploring the future possibilities of community spaces.

* Participants aged 12 or above are welcome.

* A HK$50 deposit is required for each participant to reserve a place. For those who attend the event, the deposit will be automatically refunded to the bank account used at registration within 6 to 8 weeks after the event ends. The timing of funds may vary depending on the bank. The deposit will not be refunded to those who fail to attend.

* Any transaction fees incurred when paying the event deposit are non-refundable.
