Being equally proficient in piano and singing, Wing Tracy Cheung received her musical training from a young age as a pianist and chorister. Upon graduation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Music Department, she discovered her potential in singing and pursued further musical studies at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, under the tutelage of Korean soprano Dr. In-young Lee. She was selected as a member of the School's Concert Choir, and was appointed as one of the graduate pianists, accompanying fellow students during lessons, recitals, and various competitions. She holds two master's degrees, respectively on Vocal Performance and Piano Pedagogy.
During her stay at West Chester, Tracy got involved in the Collegium Musicum under the direction of Dr. Mark Rimple, which centered on the study and performance of period music. She got various performance opportunities in and outside college, including the masterclass with Julianne Baird at the Amherst Early Music Festival in New Jersey ( 2017 ) , as well as at the Concert Choir's Spring Concert featuring Monteverdi's Vespers ( 2018 ) .
As an enthusiast in French language and choral repertoire, she was frequently invited to provide coaching for choirs and singers, as well as performing with different choral groups. Her recent appearances include the 18th Annual Concert of the University of Hong Kong Christian Choir ( 2024 ) , Magnificat- Concert for the Month of the Rosary ( 2024 ) , Gentle Airs: Recital on Handel Oratorio Arias and Autumn Serenade: a lunch-time recital at St John's Cathedral ( 2025 ) .
