"A Sea of Words" Exhibition

A Sea of Words" is an immersive, site-specific art installation by acclaimed Hong Kong media artist Kingsley Ng and Stephanie Cheung. Supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC), the participatory project invites visitors to release written words onto glowing paper boats, creating an interactive "sea of light and sound" that reflects themes of migration and belonging.The project is a continuation of their celebrated 2017 Hong Kong installation, Over the Ocean. "A Sea of Words" features deep, community-driven engagement where the artists collect stories from local residents to inform each specific presentation.
