The Hong Kong Polytechnic University English Drama Club ( EDC ) presents the Broadway classic, The Sound of Music.

Melodies that transcend time will soon resonate across the PolyU campus. Witness how Maria uses her songs and sincerity to melt the frost in the Von Trapp family's home and compose a courageous ode to love and freedom for them all amidst the gathering clouds of war. Since its debut in 1959, this musical has won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and its songs, such as Do-Re-Mi, Edelweiss, and My Favorite Things, are known worldwide.
