Founded in 2016 by Celia Leung, Phoenix Singers, HK is a mixed chorus that focuses on performing contemporary repertoire. The choir is named after the many flame trees that are found around the city.
Phoenix Singers have performed at the Blue House, Sheung Wan Civic Centre, HK Arts Centre, various private clubs, Methodist International Church, as well as at the opening of Ocean Park MTR Station. The Singers were invited to sing as the chorus at the Harry Potter & The Prison of Azkaban live concert in 2019 alongside the City Chamber Orchestra.
Through their concerts, they have supported various charities throughout the years, including Harmony House, The Samaritans, Enrich Hong Kong, Cafe 8 (The Nesbitt Centre), Wonderful Knots Foundation, Adoptive Families of Hong Kong, Bethune House and RainLily.
