Ringo Chan is a violist of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Romer String Quartet and has concertised in renown concert halls including the Carnegie Hall ( New York ), the Toppan Hall ( Tokyo ), The Sejong Centre ( Seoul ) and Shanghai Concert Hall. Before the Sinfonietta and Romer, Chan was a member of the Trio Cilliope, Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Lexington Philharmonic. Chan graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College- Conservatory of Music with Master of Music ( Viola Peformance ) under the tutelage of Masao Kawasaki and Dr. Catharine Carroll. While in school, Chan was a twice winner of the CCM Chamber Music Competition, also a recipient of the University Graduate Scholarships.
