Lau Ming-hang

Also known as “SunFool”, Lau Ming-hang is a Pop-up Book Theatre Creator, Paper Artist and freelance theatre Lighting Designer.

Lau directed and created his own debut theatre works, Ordinary Living, Just Do it Lady Eccentric, Run Bunny Run, Am I Crying, Dance Me to the Trees, the fusion of storytelling, paper-cutting, music and the crafting of Pop-up storybooks.

His lighting design works The Will to Build, The Good Person of Szechuan, Dragon Head and The French Kiss were nominated of Best Lighting Design at the Hong Kong Drama Awards.

He is the visual artist of the exhibition TST Stories (by YMCA The Dooor Arts Space) in 2020. He is also the exhibition space designer of Sparkle! A Good Waste of Time (2018), and the exhibition space and lighting design of Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme – Annual Showcase (2019-2021).
