Tam Hung Man, Alex

Tam is an experienced theatre director, stage and costume designer, playwright, curator and creative education instructor. In 2019, he participated in the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and exchanged ideas with theatre designers around the world on the topic of "Karesansui - Scenography of Hong Kong Literature Theatre". He won the Asian Arts Awards Highly Commended short listing at the Edinburgh Festival 2021 for his theatre movie "Practice of ZEN" and the Best Use of Space Award at the 10th Taipei Fringe Festival for "Playing with Xixi". Other directing works include: "Xixi Maria", "Aquamarine", "Fallen", etc.
