The Master Class is back!!! This time, we are fortunate to have invited Professor Jonothan Neelands to Hong Kong for a three-day workshop. The workshop will cover the experience and learning in drama, the impact of stories on our worldview and learning opportunities for children, and the significance of drama/theatre in enhancing well-being, harmony, and confidence. Please note that this master workshop is intended for experienced practitioners in applied theatre/drama education and may not be suitable for beginners or practitioners from unrelated fields.
The workshop will focus on
- the experience of being in drama and what kinds of learning come from that experience.
- how stories shape our worlds and offer insights into the human condition and learning opportunities for children and young people.
- the importance of drama/theatre in improving wellbeing, harmony, and confidence.
Our work with stories will include how we learn to make new stories with learners that can give them confidence in themselves and hopeful the future.
