Presented by the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC)'s special programme series "Night at JCCAC", The Blue Study teams up local swing dance group Swing Pocket for a night of Swing Dancing with Live Jazz at JCCAC.
Originating in 1930s America, swing dance developed alongside jazz as a joyful and social dance form, known for its strong rhythm, freedom, and improvisation. Energetic steps and musicality create a vibrant synergy with live swing jazz — offering audiences a refreshing and uplifting experience amid city life.
Founded in 2021, Swing Pocket promotes the spirit of swing dance through innovative approaches, encouraging people to enjoy the freedom of movement and expression in a relaxed environment, while fostering genuine human connection through dance.
